Virtual Class Participation and Recording Rules

A learner may join only a class for which their named account has the required entitlement, booking and attendance status. Join links are private, time-limited and subject to a fresh access check; they must not be forwarded or published.

Participants must use respectful names and communications, protect other participants' information, follow the moderator's safety instructions, avoid sharing credentials or confidential material and use the reporting route for any safety, welfare, accessibility or conduct concern.

The moderator may remove or restrict a participant when reasonably necessary to contain disruption, harassment, unsafe disclosure, impersonation, safeguarding risk or a security incident. The decision must be recorded and may be reviewed through support or the complaints route.

Recording is disabled by default. A class may be recorded only when the published class information identifies the purpose, provider, captured media, audience, access period, retention period and withdrawal route, and every required operational approval is present.

A participant who does not agree to recording must be offered the published non-recorded route where one is promised. Attendance does not silently convert into consent to optional recording, transcription, AI analysis or reuse in marketing.

An approved recording is released only after attendance and consent evidence is complete. Access is limited to the agreed audience, expires within the approved period, and may be withdrawn earlier for consent, safeguarding, dispute, legal-hold or security reasons.

Published sessions identify caption, transcript, language, low-bandwidth and accessibility arrangements. Recording access requires verified captions or an approved transcript; live captions alone do not prove that an archived recording is accessible.

Daskerel keeps only the attendance, consent notice version, recording status, provider reference, expiry and incident evidence required to operate and defend the service. Raw meeting media remains with the approved provider unless a separately approved storage arrangement applies.
